ERNESTO QUINTERO is a proud owner of the Saturn Cafe, a Santa Cruz based icon in vegetarian dining. As a business owner, he is committed to fair labor practices, supporting local and independent businesses and prides himself on being a responsible member of his ever-expanding community. The focus of his work-life has been building conscious business practices that assist in creating sustainable communities. Prior to owning the Saturn Cafe, Ernesto served as the Chair and President of the Board of Directors of Good Vibrations. Ernesto has over 15 years of management experience and is a respected business consultant in the San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Los Angeles areas. He is committed to working with other socially responsible business owners and green entrepreneurs. He is the founder of Bishop & Knight consulting. JENNIFER BATOR joined Bishop and Knight in the Summer of 2009. She attended graduate school at the University of Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) obtaining her master’s degree in Library and Information Science. She is currently employed as a Project Archivist in the Water Resources Center Archives at the University of California Berkeley. Along with her extensive experience in creating systems for information and administration, she has approximately 15 years of working in collectives, worker-owned co-operatives and within alternative management structures. ANTHONY FERRERAS began his work with Bishop & Knight in 2009. His two masters' degrees (the most recent of which will post May, 2010), combined with his passion for the coaching process and his strong drive to assist others in developing their leadership skills are assets in his work with Bishop & Knight clients. Anthony's coaching style is holistic, flexible and results-focused; he is sensitive to his clients' individual needs and uses his advanced assessment and communication skills to ensure he has a deep understanding of their desired results. His experience includes working with the radio, retail, education, and software industries. With ten years of experience as an executive assistant, and over five years of graphic design experience, KIMBERLY MADISON finds that working at Bishop & Knight allows her to utilize her multi-faceted talents. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in fine art photography from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and finds photography to be the medium she turns to most often for artistic expression. She describes herself as an Artivist, for she brings her creative vision, her intelligence and her passion to every aspect of her life. She is dedicated to working with socially responsible community leaders to facilitate change. Kimberly began working with Bishop & Knight in 2008 and she brings her artistic eye to every facet of her work with Bishop & Knight clients. BARBARA GARCILASO de la VEGA joined Bishop & Knight in the summer of 2009 as the Marketing Assistant. Her work-life has spanned from restaurants to co-operatives to non-profit agencies. She has spent much of her career assisting organizations, large and small, to succeed. For more than six years, Barbara was the Marketing Assistant and senior Events Coordinator for the worker-owned cooperative Good Vibrations. Barbara's passion for orchestrating the perfect event inspired her to launch her own catering company Eventful. Barbara currently works with Starlight Children’s Foundation as the Northern Bay Area Great Escapes Events Coordinator. DAN DEVORKIN is a web programmer with a passion for excellent design and working with socially responsible business, non-profits & other edupunks. He co-founded and currently co-directs the Computer Kitchen, a not-for-profit dedicated to reducing electronic waste and finding new and creative uses for discarded computers. His clients include radio stations, diners, non-profits and bike couriers. |
